An online Memorial to the civilian victims of war has been created in Ukraine

As of May 1, 2022, the UN has documented over 3,000 fatalities among civilians in Ukraine.
“This project is crucial for documenting war crimes and ensuring that people don’t become mere figures and statistics.
We have to show Europe, the world community, and the Russians (those who are still able to think critically) that the Russian army is killing innocent and wonderful people, and the Russian government is lying,” said the Memorial’s coordinator Yuliya Tupichenko.

The project’s team is calling on the Ukrainian and international media: do not be silent. Let’s tell the stories of how civilians are being killed. Look for the subjects for your articles on the Memorial website, interview their families, tell the stories of those wonderful and talented Ukrainians whose lives were taken by the Russian army.
If your acquaintances or family members were killed by the Russian invaders, you can tell their story here and add their names to the Memorial.
If you would like to help by sharing the stories, find the Memorial on social media: Instagram, Facebook, Telegram.
